Trusting Hands Minor Home Repair Program
The Trusted Hands Minor Home Repair Program offers essential home repairs through volunteers with experience in construction. Volunteers also assist with minor lawn care, such as mowing, pulling weeds, and planting flowers, for individuals who are physically unable to maintain their yards.
We have identified a significant need for this program, as many families are unaware of where to turn for help with home repairs.
This program is available to those who are disabled and financially challenged. We also partner with other organizations to assist with the financial burden of home repairs, especially for those who have become disabled, caregivers who have taken in family members in need of home modifications, or individuals who require major repairs but cannot afford them.
While we cannot guarantee that we or our partner organizations can help in every situation, we are committed to doing our best to connect them with the resources they need.
Additionally, our team of construction industry volunteers will embark on an annual mission trip, bringing building materials to various areas of the country with high levels of poverty to help repair homes.
We are always accepting donations to help cover the costs of this program, including building materials that are in good condition. We are also raising funds to build a facility to house these materials. As this program grows, so does our need for storage.
We are truly grateful to our volunteers and generous donors for their support of this important program.
